Use of plasma and radio wave treatment methods for seed disinfection

В настоящей работе исследована эффективность предпосевной обработки низкотемпературной плазмой и высокочастотным электромагнитным полем семян однолетних культур для улучшения их посевных характеристик и защиты от комплекса фитопатогенов. Изучено влияние предпосевной плазменно - радиоволновой обработки семян однолетних (пшеница яровая - Triticum aestivum L., кукуруза - Zea mays L., люпин узколистный - Lupinus angustifolius L.) и многолетних (шелковица чёрная - Morus nigra L., рододендрон Смирнова - Rhododendron smirnowii Trautv.). В результате выполненных исследований установлены оптимальные условия предпосевной плазменно - радиоволновой обработки тестируемых семян однолетних и многолетних растений, при которых ее биологическая эффективность максимальна. На основании лабораторных и полевых экспериментов показано, что плазменно-радиоволновое воздействие обеспечивает улучшение всхожести семян и позволяет снизить их зараженность патогенной микрофлорой. При оптимальных режимах воздействия энергия прорастания и всхожесть семян однолетних культур увеличивается на 5,0 - 20,0 %, а многолетних - на 30,0 -70,0 %. Установлено, что фунгицидное действие плазменно-радиоволновой обработки семян зернобобовых куль тур сохраняется на различных стадиях онтогенеза растений.

English. In the present study we investigated the effectiveness of presowing seed treatment with low-temperature plasma and high-frequency electromagnetic field of annual crops to improve their performance and protection from complex of plant pathogens. The influence of presowing plasma and radio-wave seed treatment of annual (spring wheat – Triticum aestivum L., corn – Zea mays L., blue lupine – Lupinus angustifolius L.) and perennial plants (black mulberry – Morus nigra L., Smirnov rhododendron – Rhododendron smirnowii Trautv.) on their germination and contamination by the pathogenic microflora is studied. As a result of the research there were determined the optimal conditions of presowing seed plasma and radiowave treatment, in which her biological efficiency is maximized. The efficiency of plasma and radio-wave seed treatment in the suppression of fungal and bacterial crop diseases complex during vegetation is shown, in particular, in inhibiting blue lupine root rot and anthracnose, smut of corn and spring wheat root rot. On the basis of laboratory and field experiments it was demonstrated that plasma-radiowave treatment provides improved seed germination and reduces their infection with pathogens. Under optimum conditions of treatment the germination capacity of annual crops increased by 5.0 - 20.0%, and perennials by 30.0 -70.0%. It was found that the fungicidal action of plasma-radiowave treatment of seeds of leguminous crops retained at different stages of plant ontogenesis.
