Echinochloa crus-galli harmfulness in corn

English. The aim of the realized in the Republic of Belarus research was to determine the harmfulness thresholds of barnyard grass (Echinochloa crusgalli) in crops of maize cultivated for grain and green mass to justify the need for special protective measures. As a result of three years researches the biological threshold ofharmfulness of Echinochloa crus galli in corn crops cultivated for green mass and grain is determined. Under conditions of the year close to mean perennial hydrothermal parameters it makes 17 /m2 at corn cultivation for green mass and 11 – at cultivation for grain, in the moist year conditions – 14 and 8 /m2, respectfully.

Целью наших исследований являлось определение порогов вредоносности проса куриного в посевах кукурузы, возделываемой на зерно и зеленую массу, для обоснования необходимости проведения специальных защитных мероприятий. В результате трехлетних исследований определен биологический порог вредоносности проса куриного в посевах кукурузы, возделываемой на зеленую массу и зерно. В условиях года, близкого к среднемноголетним гидротермическим показателям, при возделывании кукурузы на зеленую массу порог вредоносности проса составляет 17 растений/м2, при возделывании на зерно - 11 растений/м2, в условиях влажного года - 14 и 8-9 растений/м2, соответственно.
