Quality of life and nutrition in the Republic Belarus

Ensuring sustainable growth of living standards of the population is one of the priorities of social and economic policy of the state, because it forms the overall level of social welfare, direction and pace of innovation, political and economic stability in the country. In a course of the research there were studied the main characteristics of methods to assess quality of life and the power of the Republic of Belarus, the analysis of the basic indicators of quality of life, the estimation of the potential capacity of the domestic food market, identified the quantitative and qualitative expansion of its reserves, the estimation of potential threats in the field of physical and economic access to food supply. The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus.

Обеспечение устойчивого роста уровня и качества жизни населения является одними из приоритетных направлений социально-экономической политики государства, поскольку формирует общий уровень благосостояния общества, направленность, и темпы инновационных преобразований, политическую и экономическую стабильность в стране. Представлена характеристика основных методов оценки качества жизни и питания населения Республики Беларусь, проведен анализ базовых показателей качества жизни, дана оценка потенциальной емкости внутреннего продовольственного рынка, выявлены количественные и качественные резервы ее расширения, дана оценка потенциала угроз в сфере физической и экономической доступности продуктов питания.
