The main objective of development of agriculture and processing industry of Belarus is formation competitive in the world market and ecologically safe production of the agricultural products necessary for maintenance of the reached level of food security, providing good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle of the population. The market of vegetable production of the Mogilev area is analyzed, and die main perspective indicators of agricultural production in the field and purposeful work on their achievement are given. The priority direction of effective sustainable development of the regional vegetable market in the Mogilev region is the production of products that are competitive in the domestic and foreign markets, accessible to all population groups. Competitiveness of food products increases consumer confidence in national producers, which creates the preconditions for the sustainability of the processing industry and agriculture as a whole, as well as the balanced functioning of the markets for agricultural raw materials and food in the region.

Проанализирован рынок овощной продукции Могилевской области, а также приведены основные перспективные показатели сельскохозяйственного производства и целенаправленная работа по их достижению. Приоритетным направлением эффективного устойчивого развития регионального рынка овощной продукции Могилевской области является производство продукции, конкурентоспособной на внутреннем и внешнем рынках, доступной для всех групп населения. Конкурентоспособность продуктов питания повышает доверия потребителей к национальным производителям, в результате чего создаются предпосылки устойчивости перерабатывающей промышленности и сельского хозяйства в целом, а также сбалансированного функционирования рынков сельскохозяйственного сырья и продовольствия региона.
