Efficient development of beef cattle breeding in the Pripyat Polessye area: factors and conditions

English. Development of animal breeding branch along with its improvement into independent sphere able to satisfy national and foreign consumer has the important purpose - receiving of competitive meat production. Belarusian Polessye represents a region possessing different agricultural areas with high level of natural fertility. The paper presents the comparative evaluation of the efficiency of the development of beef cattle breeding industry in terms of productivity in agricultural organizations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the main trends of the productive use of resources. The analysis of the return on investment at beef production allows identifying the basic directions of the efficiency increase of the industry. The levels of intensity and performance of the beef cattle breeding and its prospects for the development in the Pripyat Polessye area are determined. Efficiency of the development of beef cattle breeding branch in course of evaluation of productivity of agricultural organizations is analyzed. Real and calculative indexes of payback period and expenses in the process of beef production in agricultural organizations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food during 2010-2014 are evaluated. The levels of ability to deliver good results and performance of beef cattle breeding in Brest and Gomel regions are analyzed. Economic efficiency of animal breeding is evaluated.

Проведена сравнительная оценка эффективности развития отраслей мясного скотоводства в разрезе направлений продуктивности в сельскохозяйственных организациях системы Минсельхозпрода и определены основные тенденции производительного использования ресурсов. Анализ окупаемости затрат при производстве говядины позволил выявить основные направления повышения эффективности отрасли. Определены уровни интенсивности и результативности скотоводства мясного направления и перспективы развития отрасли в зоне Припятского Полесья.
