Characteristics of new varieties of basil

Дана сравнительная оценка сортов базилика по основным морфометрическим (высота растения, количество побегов, листьев и соцветий на растении, размер листовой пластинки), морфологическим признакам (форма и плотность растения, окраска и опушенность стебля, форма и окраска верхней стороны листьев, интенсивность и распределение антоциана на листовой пластинке, а также ее глянцевитость, пузырчатость, зубчатость края, глубина зубчатости, окраска венчика), фенологическим (посев, всходы, цветение (начало, массовое), созревание семян) и биохимическим показателям (содержание в зеленой массе сырого протеина, жира, азота, фосфора, калия, кальция и магния, каротина, сахара, сухого вещества, эфирных масел), а также продуктивности зеленой массы и семян.

English. In a course of the research there was studied the new varieties of basil (Ocimum gen.). The research was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of realized research there was done comparative estimation of basil varieties according to the main morphometric signs (plant height, the number of shoots, leaves and inflorescences on plant, the size of leaf plate), morphological signs (the form and density of plant, colour and hairiness of stalk, the form and colour of upper side of leaves, intensity and distribution of anthocyanin in the leaf plate, as well as its gloss, blistering, jagged edges, the depth of jags, the colour of corolla), phenological (sowing, young growth, blossom (beginning, collective), ripening of seeds) and biochemical indicators (the content in green mass of raw protein,fat, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium, carotene, sugar, dry matter, essential oils), as well as productivity of green mass and seeds.
