Organizational-economic mechanism of support of the development of organic farming in the Republic of Belarus

На основе изучения мирового опыта ведения сельскохозяйственного производства можно констатировать, что устойчивое развитие аграрной отрасли можно обеспечить только на основе оптимального использования имеющихся ресурсов производства. В сложившейся на сегодняшний день обстановке ограниченности материальных и финансовых средств на приобретение минеральных удобрений и средств защиты растений существенным резервом производства может выступить экономически обоснованное расширение объемов производства и потребления продуктов, произведенных на основе, так называемых, органических технологий. Принципиальное отличие данных технологий от традиционных заключается в том, что при возделывании сельскохозяйственных культур исключаются минеральные удобрения и средства защиты химического происхождения. Применение органических удобрений допускается только при отсутствии в них веществ (включений), несовместимых с нормами экологической безопасности продукции. Плодородие почв обеспечивается и поддерживается соответствующей системой земледелия, основными составляющими которой являются специфические севообороты и агротехнические методы, позволяющие в совокупности получать продукцию, биохимические характеристики которой адекватны принципам и нормам ‘здорового’ питания.

On the basis of international experience of agricultural production one can say that sustainable development of the agricultural sector can only be achieved through optimal use of available production resources. In the current situation of limited material and financial resources, essential reserve of production may be economically sound expansion of the volume of production and consumption of products, made on the basis of so-called organic technologies. The principal difference between these technologies from the traditional ones is that the cultivation of crops excludes mineral fertilizers and chemical means of protection. The use of organic fertilizers is permitted only if they have no substances (impurities) that are incompatible with environmental product safety standards. Soil fertility is maintained and provided by the respective farming system, the main components of which are specific crop rotations and agricultural practices that help to obtain products, the biochemical characteristics of which are adequate to the principles and rules of ‘healthy’ diet.
