We investigated the biomass production of the energy willow plantations in the nursery garden of the College of Nyíregyháza. Examined varieties were the following: Tordis, Sven, Doris, Jor and Inger. One and two years after the plantation at the time of the harvesting we are measured the number of plants per examination plots, the number of the shoots per examination plots and also the yield data. According to our results onto the second year, the number of shoots increased by 69.8%, the available biomass production was 100% higher than the values measured in the first year. Between the experimental circumstances, we reached 74.125 tons per hectare biomass production with the variety Tordis.
