Influence of preparation based on deltamethrin on the cattle organism | Влияние препарата на основе дельтаметрина на организм крупного рогатого скота

English. Investigated was the effect of the Delcid (the active ingredient 4% deltamethrin) on the cattle organism. For an experiment there were selected 30 heads of cattle aged between 2 and 6 years. The animals were divided into 3 groups of 10 animals in each, 2 of them were experimental, 1 was control. Animals of the 1st group were treated with a 0.125%Delcid (0.005% by the active ingredient) by the large-drop spraying once a day for 10 days. Animals of the 2nd group were treated with emulsion of 0.5% Delcid (0.02% by the active ingredient) for a once. Animals of the 3-d group were control and were not sprayed. To determine the response of organism of animals to spraying Delcid the clinical condition of cattle was observed, hematological, morphological and biochemical parameters of blood and urine were examined. For this purpose, one day before treatment and 1, 5 and 10 days after it an observation of cattle was carried out and blood and urine were examined. When the 14-day treatment, all the studies were performed in the same period after the last treatment. Inspection of cattle from the experimental groups did not show abnormalities in the initial state of animals and differences from condition of animals of the control group. The results of investigating urine, as well as clinical and biochemical blood tests showed no true (P greater than 0.05) abnormalities in the tested animals (P 0.05). It is concluded that Delcid is a safe drug for a single cutaneous application of 0.5% concentration and when applying within 14 days (once a day) in 0.125% of concentration.

Russian. Изучали влияние препарата Дельцид (действующее вещество 4% дельтаметрин) на организм крупного рогатого скота. Для проведения опыта 30 голов в возрасте от 2 до 6 лет разделили на 3 равные группы, Животных 1-й группы обрабатывали 0,125% эмульсией Дельцида (0,005% по ДВ) методом крупно-капельного опрыскивания 1 раз в день в течение 10 дней; животных 2-й группы – 0,5% эмульсией Дельцида (0,02% по ДВ) однократно; животные 3 группы служили контролем и обработке не подвергались. Для определения реакции организма животных на обработку Дельцидом наблюдали за их клиническим состоянием, исследовали гематологические, морфологические и биохимические показатели крови и мочу. Для этого за сутки до обработки и через 1, 5 и 10 суток после проводили наблюдения за скотом и исследовали кровь и мочу. При 14-дневной обработке все исследования производили в те же сроки после последней обработки. Осмотр крупного рогатого скота подопытных групп не показал отклонений от их исходного состояния и от состояния скота в контрольной группе. Результаты исследования мочи, а также клинических и биохимических исследований крови не показали достоверных (Р больше 0,05) отклонений от нормы у подопытных животных. Сделан вывод, что препарат Дельцид является безопасным при однократном накожном применении в 0,5%-ной концентрации и при применении в течение 14 дней (1 раз в день) в 0,125%-ной концентрации.
