English. The propagation of valuable commercial species, zander (Sander lucioperca), in the Volga River delta is a topical task due to significant reduction in stocks of this fish. The conditions of spring hatchery incubation of zander eggs favor the development of fungi of fam. Saprolegniales causing saprolegniosis. These conditions relate to fluctuations in water temperature, pH, oxygen content and poor quality of the fish roe (percentage of fertilization). The study was carried out since 1998 to 2001 at a hatchery situated in Astrakhan region. The study results are based on the analysis of 250 samples of the affected zander eggs along with analyses of water sampled in the incubators and water source. The water temperature, pH and waterborne oxygen content were analyzed in parallel. The disease pathogenesis was studied using histology techniques. The borders between the outer and inner membranes of the affected eggs are lysed and along with yolk are infected by hyphae of the fungi. Totally 52, 42 and 23 isolates of fungi were isolated from the affected eggs, incubators and water sources, respectively. Ten species of fungi of gg. Saprolegnia, Achlya, Aphanomyces and Dictyuchus, dominated by S. parasitica and S. ferax, were identified in the studied biotopes. On the basis of these studies, preventive medical treatment of roe with purple "K" at a concentration of 5 mg/l at 30 h duration of exposure is recommended. Flow-through regime during the treatment should be off.

Russian. В дельте р. Волги разведение ценного промыслового вида судака (Sander lucioperca) приобрело особую актуальность вследствие значительного снижения его запасов. Весной во время заводской инкубации икры судака создаются благоприятные условия для развития грибов из сем. Saprolegniales – возбудителей сапролегниоза. Это перепады температуры воды, рН среды, кислородного режима и рыбоводное качество самой икры (процент ее оплодотворения). Материалом послужили 250 проб пораженной икры судака, пробы воды в инкубаторах и водоисточнике, отобранные в 1998-2001 гг. на одном из рыбоводных заводов в Астраханской области. Параллельно учитывали показатели температуры воды, рН и содержание кислорода в воде. Гистологически изучен патогенез заболевания. Границы между внешней и внутренней оболочками пораженной икры лизированы и наряду с желтком инвазированы гифами грибов. Из пораженной икры, инкубаторов и водоисточников выделено 52, 42 и 23 изолята грибов соответственно. В исследуемых биотопах выделено 10 видов грибов родов Saprolegnia, Achlya, Aphanomyces и Dictyuchus, среди которых доминировали S. parasitica, S. ferax. На основании приведенных исследований рекомендована лечебно-профилактическая обработка икры фиолетовым "К" в концентрации 5 мг/л с экспозицией 30. Проточность при обработке необходимо отключать.
