В статье рассмотрены позиции ученых-экономистов по данному вопросу, так как су ществует проблема высокого и постоянного роста задолженностей контрагентов, решение которо го является весьма важным для хозяйствующих субъектов. Проведена оценка состояния дебиторской и кредиторской задолженности и задолженности контрагентов, изучены основные виды долгов сель скохозяйственных организаций. Для совершенствования организации внутреннего контроля расчетов с контрагентами нами предложены этапы проведения внутреннего контроля расчетов с контраген тами и регистры полученных и выданных авансов покупателям и поставщикам.

The article considers positions of scientists-economists on this issue, as there is a high and con stant growth of debts of counterparties, the solution of which is very important for economic entities. Assessed the status of accounts receivable and accounts payable and receivable counterparties studied the main types of debts of the agricultural organizations. To improve internal control of payments to contractors we have proposed stages of the internal control of payments to contractors and registers of received and issued advances to cus tomers and suppliers.
