Soil physical properties of areas cultivated with grassland and eucalyptus converted from the atlantic forest area | Propriedades físicas do solo de áreas cultivadas com pastagem e eucalipto convertidas de área da floresta atlântica

Diante das várias áreas de florestas nativas convertidas nos últimos anos em áreas para o cultivo de espécies agrícolas, buscando o aumento da produção, objetivou-se com esse trabalho avaliar as propriedades físicas do solo em áreas cultivadas com pastagem e eucalipto convertidas de área da floresta Atlântica. O experimento foi em parcelas subdividas com três repetições, sendo as parcelas três áreas diferentes, mata nativa (cobertura original), pastagem e eucalipto, e as subparcelas três profundidades (0,00-0,20; 0,20-0,40 e 0,40-0,60 m). Amostras indeformadas foram utilizadas para a determinação da densidade do solo, macro e microporosidade, diâmetro médio geométrico (DMG) e ponderado (DMP). A pastagem e o eucalipto apresentaram maior densidade do solo em relação à mata nativa. A mata nativa e eucalipto apresentaram maior microporosidade nas camadas mais profundas, diferindo da camada superficial do solo que apresentou menor microporosidade e maior macroporosidade. A cobertura de eucalipto apresentou maior DMG e DMP entre as áreas convertidas, já o maior DMG e DMP foram encontrados na cobertura de mata nativa diferindo das demais. A conversão de área de floresta atlântica em áreas agricultáveis influenciou as propriedades físicas do solo apenas na profundidade de 0,00-0,20 m do solo. As propriedades físicas da área de eucalipto foram as que mais se aproximaram da mata nativa.

In the face of various areas of native forests converted in recent years in areas for the cultivation of agricultural species, seeking increased production, this work aimed to evaluate the physical properties of soil in areas cultivated with grassland and eucalyptus converted from forest Atlantic area. The experiment was subdivided plots with three replications, as the plots three different areas, native forest (original cover), pastures and eucalyptus, and the subplots three depths (0.00-0.20; 0.20-0.40 and 0.40-0.60 m). Undisturbed samples were used for the determination of soil density, macro and microporosity, geometric mean diameter (GMD) and ponderate (PMD). The grassland and eucalyptus showed higher soil density compared to native forest. The native forest and eucalyptus showed higher microporosity in the deeper layers, differing from the surface layer of the soil showed lower microporosity and macroporosity greater. Eucalyptus coverage showed higher GMD and PMD between the converted areas, already the largest GMD and PMD were found in native forest cover, differing from the others. The conversion of Atlantic forest area of farmland affected the physical properties of soil only in the depth of 0.00 to 0.20 m above the ground. The physical properties of eucalyptus area were the most neared the native forest.
