Caracterización estructural del bosque de galería de la Estación Experimental Agroforestal de Guisa | Structural characterization of the gallery forest of the Guisa Agroforestry Experimental Station

El trabajo se realizó en el Bosque de galería del arroyo Cupaynicú, perteneciente a la Estación Experimental Agroforestal Guisa, con el objetivo de caracterizar la estructura del mismo. Se levantaron aleatoriamente ocho parcelas de 500 m2, en ellas se identificaron las especies, se midió la altura y el diámetro de las mismas. La flora fue analizada a través del origen de las especies y el histograma de frecuencias. La estructura del bosque se analizó a través de la estructura diamétrica y del Índice de Valor de Importancia Ecológica, la estructura vertical se describió tomando en consideración los estratos del bosque además de la confección del diagrama de copas. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo de los parámetros d, h, y área basal, para estudiar la estructura paramétrica. La riqueza del Bosque ripario se evidenció con el registro de 25 familias, 40 géneros y 43 especies, así como el predominio de la familia Meliaceae seguida de Lauraceae, Mimosaceae y Sapindaceae, lo cual refleja el alto valor maderable, melífero y ecológico de la misma. Las especies Roystonea regia, Sterculia apetala, Dendropanax arboreus, Andira inermis y Mangifera indica, determinan la fisionomía del Bosque de galería. Los árboles alcanzan los 33 cm de diámetro y los 18,27 m de altura como promedio, aunque la presencia de árboles con 30 m es la más frecuente, lo cual denota la estructura irregular del bosque.

English. The work was carried out in the gallery forest of the Cupaynicú stream, belonging to the Guisa Agroforestry Experimental Station, with the objective of characterizing its structure. Eight parcels of 500 m2 were randomly raised, in them the species were identified, their height and diameter were measured. The flora was analyzed through the origin of the species and the frequency histogram. The structure of the forest was analyzed through the diametric structure and the Value Index of Ecological Importance, the vertical structure was described taking into consideration the forest strata as well as the preparation of the canopy diagram. A descriptive analysis of the parameters diameter, height and basal area was made to study the parametric structure. The richness of the riparian forest was evidenced by the registry of 25 families, 40 genera and 43 species, as well as the predominance of the Meliaceae family followed by Lauraceae, Mimosaceae and Sapindaceae, which reflects the high timber value, melliferous and ecological of the same. The species Roystonea regia, Sterculiaapetala, Dendropanaxarboreus, Andirainermis and Mangifera indica, determine the physiognomy of the gallery Forest. The trees reach 33 cm in diameter and 18.27 m in height on average, although the presence of trees with 30 m is the most frequent, which denotes the irregular structure of the forest.
