Influence of phytoohormonekinetin on the growth of planttrees of Coffea arábiga L. Grafted on robust pattern in nursery | Influencia de la fitohormona kinetina en el crecimiento de plántulas de Coffea arábiga L. injertadas sobre patrón robusta en vivero

El proyecto tiende a conseguir la producción de plantas superiores, tolerantes a plagas y enfermedades; se ejecutó en el vivero de la granja experimental de la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí, ubicado en el sitio Andil; con el objetivo de determinar la incidencia de la fitohormona kinetina en el crecimiento de cuatro variedades de café arábigo: Sarchimor 1669, Sarchimor 4260, Pache y Catuai rojo, injertados sobre patrón robusta. La metodología aplicada fue experimental-factorial de A x B  con diseños de bloque al azar con 8 tratamientos, uno por cada variedad empleada con hormona; uno por cada variedad sin hormona y cuatro repeticiones; para la evaluación de los promedios se utilizó la prueba de Tukey al 95 % de confianza; se analizaron las siguientes variables: altura de plantas, diámetro de plantas, longitud de hojas, número de hojas, ancho de hojas, área foliar, longitud de raíz, volumen radicular, peso de raíz y vigor de las plantas, en un periodo de seis meses a partir del 20 de enero de 2017. Los resultados del prendimiento a los 15 días de realizada el injerto en las cuatro variedades consideradas determinaron los siguientes porcentajes: pache, 98,50%; Sarchimor 1669,  98,00%; Catuai rojo,  97,75 % y Sarchimor 4260, 97,25 %. Posteriormente se procedió a cuantificar los valores de las variables en función de lo cual se recomendó fortalecer los resultados obtenido mediante la realización de otros ensayos de similares características.

The project tends to achieve the production of higher plants, tolerant to pests and diseases; it was executed in the nursery of the experimental farm of the Southern State University of Manabí, located in the Andil site; with the objective of determining the incidence of phytohormone kinetin in the growth of four varieties of Arabica coffee: Sarchimor 1669, Sarchimor 4260, Pache and red Catuai, grafted on robust pattern. The applied methodology was experimental-factorial of A x B with random block designs with 8 treatments, one for each variety used with hormone and one for each variety without hormone and four repetitions; For the evaluation of the averages, the Tukey test was used at 95% confidence; the following variables were analyzed: height of plants, diameter of plants, length of leaves, number of leaves, leaf width, leaf area, root length, root volume, root weight and vigor of the plants, in a period of six months from January 20, 2017. The results of the arrest at 15 days after the grafting in the four varieties considered determined the following percentages: pache, 98.50%; Sarchimor 1669, 98.00%; Catuai red, 97.75% and Sarchimor 4260, 97.25%. Subsequently we proceeded to quantify the values of the variables based on which it was recommended to strengthen the results obtained by performing other tests of similar characteristics.
