RESULTS OF THE NARROW-LEAFED LUPIN TESTING

The article presents the results of the perennial narrow-leafed lupin (L. angustifolius) varieties’ testing on vegetation period, crude protein content in grain and in green mass dry matter. Under global warming the vegetation period of the modern narrow-leafed lupin varieties varies from 77 to 96 days, crude protein content varies from 33.0 to 34.7%. In the Shatilovka agricultural experimental station in Orel region grain productivity potential of narrow- leafed lupin vars. Vityaz, Smena and Siderat 46 made 4.0-5.0 t/ha.
