it is possible to influence actively on the quality of human capital through the development and improvement of the school nutrition system. Dynamic development of the economy of the capital of Kyrgyzstan allows us to assert about the availability of reserves for the formation of a sustainable school nutrition system. Among the residents of the capital city there is a significant economic stratification, according to statistics in 2014, child poverty in the cities of the Kyrgyz Republic was 34.2%. From this point of view, school meals, as shown by the results of international studies, can be a part of a package of tools to support low-income families. School nutrition for the city can be a way to provide equal access to quality nutrition for children from families with different socio-economic status.
