The interrelation between the higher nervous activity type of the Kholmogory breed cows and their milk productivity | Взаимосвязь типа высшей нервной деятельности с молочной продуктивностью коров холмогорской породы

English. The purpose of this work is to determine the interrelation between the higher nervous activity (HNA) types and milk productivity of the cows of the Kholmogory breed in free-stall housing system in the conditions of the Arkhangelsk region. The methodology of G.V. Parshutin and Т.V. Ippolitova (1973) was used as the basis in studying the features and determining the HNA types of cows. For the experiment four groups of animals were formed. The first group (47.5% of animals under study) included cows with a strong, balanced mobile HNA type; the second one (12.5%) - with a balanced inert HNA type; the third one (22.5%) - with a strong unbalanced HNA type; and the fourth one (17.5%) - with a weak HNA type. Cows from the first group have the highest milk productivity for 305 lactation days, an average of 6,256 kg of milk. That was 6.73% more than in the second group of cows (5,835 kg). The difference between the milk productivity of cows from the first and the third groups was 1,335 kg (21.33%), from the first and the forth ones - 2,178 kg (34.7%). It is concluded that the animals with the strong balanced mobile type of the nervous system are the most suitable for the industrial breeding and use in selection of the cows of the Kholmogory breed.

Целью работы является определение взаимосвязи типов высшей нервной деятельности (ВНД) с молочной продуктивностью коров холмогорской породы при боксовом содержании в условиях Архангельской области. При изучении особенностей и при определении типов ВНД у коров за основу была взята методика Г.В. Паршутина, Т.В. Ипполитовой (1973). Для проведения опыта было сформировано 4 группы животных. К первой группе (47,5% от поголовья исследуемых животных) были отнесены коровы с сильным, уравновешенным подвижным типом ВНД; ко второй группе (12,5%) - с уравновешенным инертным типом ВНД; к третьей группе (22,5%) - с сильным неуравновешенным типом ВНД; и к четвёртой группе (17,5%) - со слабым типом ВНД. Коровы первой группы имеют наивысшую молочную продуктивность за 305 дней лактации, в среднем 6258 кг молока. Это на 6,73% больше, чем продуктивность коров второй группы (5835 кг). Разница между продуктивностью коров первой и третьей групп составила 1335 кг (21,33%), первой и четвертой - 2178 кг (34,7%). Сделан вывод, что для промышленного разведения и использования в селекции коров холмогорской породы наиболее пригодны животные сильного уравновешенного подвижного типа нервной системы.
