Effect of fertilizers on the chemical composition of apples in the South of Russia | Влияние удобрений на химический состав яблок в условиях юга России

English. The effect of foliar application of apple cultivars Aidared and Prikubanskoe with water solutions of nutrient salts of different brands on the mode of nutrition of plants and the chemical composition of fruits was studied. The experiments were carried out in the Central zone of the Krasnodar region on leached chernozem. Foliar application of aqueous solutions of special fertilizer grades N18P18K18 + trace elements (TE) (spring--summer) and N12P12K35 + TE (summer) was conducted in phases: separation of buds-budding; size of fruit "walnut"; the growth of fruits. The chemical composition of apple leaves and fruits was studied after accelerated wet ashing. After the ashing the total nitrogen content was determined by the chloramine method, phosphorus – by the "blue" complex with the molybdophosphoric colorimetric end, and potassium – by the flame photometry. There was an increased content in apples gross forms of nitrogen, depending on the varieties by 11.8 – 32.4 %, of potassium - by4.3-31.1%, and of calcium - by 5.5 to 21.4%. There was observed an increase in the content in fruit dry matter, total content of sugars, acids, and vitamin C. Foliar applications contributed to the increase in fruit weight on the average in varieties by 0.5-8.2%. This positively influenced on the yield of high-value products. The number of high and first grade fruits and varieties drew in different years for cultivars Aidared and Prikubanskoe by 1.5 - 7.8 %. The study of the interrelation of indicators of fruit quality and content of major mineral elements in apples has revealed a weak dependence of the parameters on total phosphorus (r = 0,34 – 0,49) and higher of potassium (r = 0,72-0,78).

Russian. Исследовано влияние листовых подкормок яблони сортов Айдаред и Прикубанское водными растворами питательных солей различных марок на режим питания растений и химический состав плодов. Опыты проводили в 2006-2010 гг. в условиях центральной зоны Краснодарского края на чернозёме выщелоченном. Листовые подкормки водными растворами специальных удобрений марок N18P18K18 + микроэлементы (МЭ) (весна-лето) и N12P12K35 + МЭ (лето) проводили в фазы обособление бутонов-бутонизация; размер плода "грецкий орех"; рост плодов. Химический состав листьев яблони и плодов исследовали после ускоренного мокрого озоления. После озоления определяли общее содержание азота хлораминным методом, фосфора – по "синему" фосфорномолибденовому комплексу с колориметрическим окончанием, калия – методом пламенной фотометрии. Выявлено увеличение содержания в яблоках валовых форм азота в зависимости от сорта на 11,8 – 32,4 %, калия - на 4,3-31,1 %, кальция - на 5,5-21,4 %. При этом наблюдали рост содержания в плодах сухих веществ, общего содержания сахаров, кислот, витамина С. Применение листовых подкормок способствовало увеличению массы плода в среднем по сортам на 0,5-8,2 %, что положительное повлияло на выход высокотоварной продукции. Количество плодов высшего и первого сортов возрастало в разные годы по сортам Айдаред и Прикубанское на 1,5-7,8 %. При исследовании взаимосвязи показателей качества плодов и содержания основных минеральных элементов в яблоках выявлена слабая зависимость показателей от валового фосфора (r = 0,34 – 0,49) и более значительная – от калия (r = 0,72-0,78).
