Fuel systems for supplying mixed fuels to high-speed diesel engines | Топливные системы для подачи смесевых топлив в быстроходных дизелях

The results of the assembly and testing of the fuel system variants newly developed for the supply of mixed fuel with the possibility of changing their composition during the injection process are resented. The nozzle housing for mixed fuel differs from the housing of the serial product by the presence of two channels for supplying to the atomizer, respectively, the main fuel and additive. The nozzle is equipped with a sprayer, which also has channels for supplying diesel and alternative fuels. The supply of diesel fuel through the axial channel in the nozzle of the nebulizer is also of fundamental importance, since it inevitably falls into the gap between the needle and the body and thereby facilitates the lubrication of this precision pair. Mixing of the components of the mixture is carried out in the cavity located at the base of the locking cone of the needle. This is another principal feature of the nozzle atomizer design, intended for mixed fuel. Motor fuel mixture research was carried out on a single-cylinder engine mounted on the universal crate of IT-9 (1 Ch 10.5/12). It is shown that an increase in the proportion of water in a mixture with diesel fuel leads to an improvement in the composition of combustion products in diesel. Thus, with 50% water content, carbon emissions are reduced by almost 10 times, nitrogen oxides - by 2.6, and carbon oxide - by 2.5. The use of diesel fuel in mix with ethyl alcohol provides decrease in emissions of soot by 1.6 times, nitrogen oxides – by 11%; reduces fuel usage. The working capacity of the proposed system during its operation as a part of the diesel engine (2 Ch 10.5/12) and the possibility of improving ecological characteristics of the latter with a reduction in the consumption of diesel fuel by partial replacement with ethanol are shown.

Изложены результаты комплектации и испытаний вновь разработанных вариантов топливных систем, предназначенных для подачи смесевого топлива, с возможностью изменения их состава в процессе впрыскивания. Корпус форсунки для смесевого топлива отличается от корпуса серийного изделия наличием двух каналов для подвода к распылителю, соответственно, основного топлива и присадки. Форсунка укомплектована распылителем, который также имеет каналы для подвода дизельного и альтернативного топлив. Подача дизельного топлива через осевой канал в игле распылителя также имеет принципиальное значение, т. к. оно неминуемо попадает в зазор между иглой и корпусом и тем самым способствует смазке данной прецизионной пары. Смешение компонентов смеси осуществляется в полости, расположенной у основания запирающего конуса иглы. Это еще одна принципиальная особенность конструкции распылителя форсунки, предназначенной для смесевого топлива. Моторные исследования смесевого топлива проведены на одноцилиндровом двигателе, смонтированном на универсальном картере ИТ-9 (1Ч 10,5/12). Показано, что увеличение доли воды в смеси с дизельным топливом приводит к улучшению состава продуктов сгорания в дизеле. Так, при 50% массовом содержании воды наблюдается снижение выбросов сажи почти в 10 раз, оксидов азота – в 2,6 раза, а оксида углерода – в 2,5 раза. Использование дизельного топлива в смеси с этиловым спиртом обеспечивает снижение выбросов сажи в 1,6 раза, оксидов азота – на 11%; сокращает расход топлива. Показана работоспособность предложенной системы при ее работе в составе дизеля (2Ч 10,5/12) и возможность улучшения экологических характеристик последнего при снижении расхода дизельного топлива путем частичной его замены этанолом.
