Biological activity of eroded chernozems in forest-steppe agro-landscapes of the Altai Region's Ob River area | Биологическая активность эродированных черноземов в агроландшафтах лесостепи Алтайского Приобья

English. The biological activity was estimated in a soil layer of 0-40 cm sown with spring wheat, the total accumulation of amino acids and the intensity of cellulose decomposition were determined. In the variants of the experiment the types of pre-fallows (dead fallow, seeded fallow, green-manured fallow) and doses of mineral fertilizers (from P20 to N60P180K180) were different. 2 types of chernozems were compared – weakly washed away (humus 4.8%) and warp (humus 5.4). The microbiological activity of eroded chernozems under the conditions of the Altai Region's Ob River area is revealed to the fullest extent in the beginning of the growing season (late May - June). The activity of amino acid synthesis of is determined by the content of mineral nitrogen in the soil; cellulose destruction – by soil moisture content. The total biological activity of microorganisms in eroded chernozems may be evaluated as medium. The research findings showed that the intensity of nitrogen mineralization in soils may vary significantly, even in the same catchment basin, or the same land facies. For instance, the chernozems developed on the slope of the south-eastern exposure formed on average about 60 kg ha of available nitrogen, while in the soil of the opposite slope the average amount of mineralized nitrogen was 35 kg ha. High mineralizing ability, as expected, was shown by warp chernozems. They accumulated additional mobile nitrogen up to 110% of the amount applied with fertilizers; in eroded soils this value was 32% only. A strong direct correlation was found between the initial content of mineral nitrogen forms and nitrogen mineralizing ability of the soil. The amount of 2.8 ± 0.84 mg kg of NH4 + NO3 was formed in the soil by composting per 1 mg of the initial content of mobile nitrogen forms. Warp chernozems, due to the effect of nitrogen fertilizers, exceeded eroded chernozems 2-3 times by the accumulation of additional mineral nitrogen.

Russian. Оценивали биологическую активность в слое почвы 0-40 см под посевами яровой пшеницы. Определяли суммарное накопление аминокислот и интенсивность разложения целлюлозы. В вариантах опыта различались виды предшествующего пара (чистый, занятый, сидеральный) и дозы минеральных удобрений (от P20 до N60P180K180). Сравнивали 2 вида черноземов – слабосмытй (гумус 4,8%) и намытый (гумус 5,4%). Микробиологическая активность эродированных черноземов в условиях Приобья Алтая в наибольшей степени проявляется в начальный период вегетации (конец мая-июнь). На активность синтеза аминокислот определяющее влияние оказывает содержание минерального азота в почве, на разрушение целлюлозы – влажность почвы. Общую биологическую активность микроорганизмов в эродированных черноземах можно оценить как среднюю. Результаты исследований показали, что интенсивность минерализации азота в почвах может значительно различаться, даже в условиях одного водосбора, одной фации ландшафта. Так, чернозёмы, сформированные на склоне юго-восточной экспозиции, образовывали в среднем около 60 кг/га доступного азота, в то время как в почве противоположного склона среднее количество минерализованного азота составляло 35 кг/га. Высокую минерализующую способность, как ожидалось, показали намытые чернозёмы. Они накапливали дополнительного подвижного азота до 110% от внесённого с удобрением, а в эродированных почвах эта величина составляла всего 32%. Выявлена сильная прямая корреляционная зависимость между исходным содержанием минеральных форм азота и азотминерализующей способностью почвы. На 1 мг исходного содержания подвижных форм азота в почве в процессе компостирования образовывалось 2,8±0,84 мг/кг NH4+NO3. Намытые чернозёмы за счёт воздействия азотных удобрений в 2-3 раза превышали эродированные по накоплению добавочного минерального азота.
