Researched the seasonal dynamics of Vitamin D provision rate in cows of the Ukrainian Black- and-White dairy breed, which were held at the natural geographical areas of Precarpathians. Established that the content of the active metabolite of vitamin D3 — 25-OHD3 in blood of cows during lactation period was the highest in summer-pasture period, and the lowest — in the winter-stall period
