The Nutrition Challenge Badge is designed to help children and young people learn about the importance of a balanced and varied diet to ensure all the nutritional needs of our body and lead a happy and healthy life. This booklet includes information about how to make healthy food choices, understand the importance of food safety and provides guidance on how to adopt a sustainable diet to reduce the impacts on our environment. Most of all, the booklet is packed with activities and curriculum ideas to stimulate learning and encourage children and young people to lead healthy lifestyles that are good for themselves and for the planet.
