Determination of the parameters of nutritional value and nitrogen retention in silage of the selected type of legume-cereal intercrop harvested in two maturity stages

The silage was made from the selected legume-cereal intercrops (LCI-B: peas with barley, LCI-W: peas with wheat) harvested in two different phenophase stage. Four produced silages were tested vwithin heifers balance experiments. The data obtained from the classical balance experiments served for objective establishment of parameters of nutritional value of four tested silages. It is possible to characterize the trends in changes of nutritional value of selected feed of different maturity (phenophase).
