Een van de aspecten waarnaar gekeken wordt in het actieplan 'Minder virus in tulp' is de vraag of er verschillen zijn per teeltregio. Dat blijkt zo te zijn. Vooral het verschil in aantal gevangen luizen per regio bleek groot te zijn. De verwachting dat een sterke virusuitbreiding altijd gepaard zou gaan met een hoge bladluisvangst bleek niet te kloppen.
