Advies over de geschiktheid van de alpaca als productiedier, aan de hand van literatuurscan, bedrijfsaudit en expertview. In principe is de alpaca geschikt om te houden als productiedier, mits aan een aantal voorwaarden op het gebied van o.a. bezettingsgraad, schuilmogelijkheden, zandbaden en specifieke alpacakennis wordt voldaan.---Advice on the suitability of the alpaca (Vicugna pacos) as a production animal, on the basis of literature scan, farm audit and extert view. In principle, the alpaca is suitable as production animal, provided that a number of conditions in the field of, among others, animal density, shelters, sand baths and specific alpaca knowledge are met.
