Republic of Serbia is one of the largest oilseeds producers in the region. According to the area and volume of production, sunflower is the leading oilseed in these areas, while the fastest growing production in our country has been recorded in soybean, as elsewhere in the world. Rapeseed, as a winter crop, is less affected by the impact of climate change and its purchasing price is stable, which cause an increase in interest of its cultivation in recent years. In this period, oil seeds have become increasingly interesting export goods. At the same time, values of exported oilseed products have been among the top ten export agro-food products for years.
