In the aeroponic system of Potato center in Guca and RZ-plant we investigated the influence of variety and origin of planting material on the properties of potato minitubers. The varieties of potatoes were Sinora and Desiree, with two origins: from in vitro and from mini-tubers from the previous generation. Plants originating from mini tubers are simpler and cheaper to prepare seedlings suitable for the aeroponic system of cultivation than plants obtained in vitro. The first harvest of the mini tubers of the Sinora variety began 43 days after planting in aeroponics, and of the Desiree variety 20 days later. The Desiree variety has formed an average of 20.57 mini tubers and the Sinora variety 13.96. In both varieties, the plants with in vitro origin had a very significantly higher number of tubers per plant than plants that originated from a minituber from the previous vegetation. The average weight of mini-tubers in both varieties is veriy significantly higher in plants whose origin is from mini-tubers. The successive harvest of the mini-tuber allows them to reach the desired size of over 8g.
