Sales of Slovak agricultural commodities in the domestic and foreign markets

The paper is aimed at the analysis of the situation in the sales of Slovak agricultural commodities. The volume of sales is affected by the current supply and demand in domestic and international markets. The bulk of agrarian commodity production is for sale, where it can be distributed directly or through business organizations to domestic processing organizations (possibly to retail network) or exported abroad. Slovakia's foreign trade exchange with agrarian commodities reaches a positive trade balance. Export is focuded on cereals, oilseeds, live livestock and milk, while with the current structure and performance of agricultural production and with the under-utilization of the existing production potential of the processing industry, the export potential of our agricultural products is exhausted.
