2017
Kılınç, A.
This work, inwas conducted to determine the yield and yield components of some peanut (Arachis hypogea L.) cultivars during the main crop growing season in Kahramanmaraş conditions in 2016. The study was established and carried out in the experimental area of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops, The East Mediterranean Transitional Zone Agricultural Research Institute. In the experiment, 17 peanut genotypes (Arıoğlu-2003, Batem-5025, Batem-Cihangir, Brantley, Florispan, Georgia Green, Halisbey, NC-7, NC-V 11, Osmaniye-2005, Wilson, Sultan, PL 555, Köy-1, Köy-2, Köy-3 and Köy-4) were used as plant materials. The study was conducted at randomized complete block design with three replications. In the experiment; number of flowering days, number of gynofor formation days, number of physiological maturation days, number of capsules per plant, growth form, seed color, shell ratio, seed yield, seed weight, 100 weight of seeds, 100 weight of capsule, percentage of seeds, percentage of protein in seeds, and protein content were investigated. According to the results of the research, the capsule yield values of groundnut varieties varied between 235.71 and 632.38 kg da-1. The highest capsule yield was obtained from Osmaniye-2005 (632.38 kg da-1) variety. The oil contents of the peanut varieties varied from 48.36% to 54.70% and the protein ratios varied from 22.98% to 30.59%. According to the results of capsule yield, Osmaniye-2005, Arıoğlu-2003, Halisbey and NC-7 varieties are recommended for main product season in Kahramanmaraş
