El propósito de este ensayo es analizar la evolución del servicio de abastecimiento de agua en la ciudad de Córdoba (Argentina) desde la inauguración del sistema de agua corriente en 1883 hasta mediados de la década de 1930, período durante el cual la gestión estuvo, primero, a cargo del municipio, y luego pasó a manos de organismos creados a tal fin por el gobierno nacional.

The objective of this essay is to analyze the evolution of water supply services in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, since the inauguration of the running water system in 1883 until the middle of the 1930s, a period during which management was, at first, in charge of the municipality and later was transferred to organizations created for that function by the national government.
