Control quìmico de Thrips palmi Karny (Thysanoptera, Thripidae) en caraota (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) II.

Un nuevo ensayo efectuado en el verano de 1993 en Santa Cruz de Aragua, estado Aragua para el control de Thrips palmi Karny en caraota se utilizaron los siguientes productos químicos: avermectina (Vertimec 1.8 CE) 1 L/ha, cartap (Padan 50% PS) 2 kg/ha, diflubenzuron + aceite parafinico (Dimilin 25% PM + SafTSide 80%) 1 kg+7 L/ha, flufenoxuron (Cascade 100 CE) 1 L/ha, fenobcarb (Osbac 50% CE) 1,5 L/ha, imidacloprid (Confidor 350 CS) 0,75 L/ha, isazofos (Miral 500 CS) 2 L/ha, piriproxifen (Admiral 10% CE) 1 L/ha y propetanfos (Blotic 35% CE) 1 L/ha. Se efectuaron cuatro tratamientos y cinco evaluaciones, una previa y siete días después de cada aplicación. En el control de ninfas los productos con mayor eficacia fueron imidacloprid con 85,97%, avermectina 74,74%, piriproxifen con 69,57%, cartap con 57,16%, flufenoxuron con 51,36%, diflubenzuron+aceite 24,70%, fenobcarb, isazofos y propetanfos presentaron poblaciones mayores al testigo. Resultados semejantes se observaron con el control de adultos pero con menor eficacia, avermectina con 50,21%, piriproxifen con 45,05%, flufenoxuron 24,45%, cartap con 22,73% e imidacloprid con 8,59%, diflubenzuron+aceite 2,61%, fenobcarb, isazofos y propetanfos presentaron poblaciones mayores al testigo.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. A new field trial for the control of Thrips palmi Karny on field beans was held at Santa Cruz, State of Aragua in March 1993. Products, formulations and dosages used were: avermectina (Vertimec 1.8 EC) 1 L/ha, cartap (Padan 50% SP) 2 kg/ha, diflubenzuron + paraffinic oil (Dimilin 25% WP + SafTSide 80%) 1 kg/ha + 7 L/ha, fenobcarb (Osbac 50% EC) 1.5 L/ha, flufenoxuron (Cascade 100 EC) 1 L/ha, imidacloprid (Confidor 350 SC) 0.75 L/ha, isazofos (Miral 500 SC) 2 L/ha, pyriproxyfen (Admiral 10% EC) 1 lL/ha and propetanphos (Blotic 35% EC) 1 L/ha. A total of four applications and five evaluatios were performed, one previous to treatment and again seven days after each application. In nymph control, the most effective treatments were imidacloprid, 85.97%. avermectin 74.74%, pyropoxifen 69.57 %, cartap 57.16%, flufenoxuron 51.36%, diflubenzuron + oil 24.70%.. Fenobcarb, isazofos and propetanphos gave higher population percentages than control in adults but with less efficiency. Similar results were observed in the control of adults but with a lower efficacy, avermectin 50.21%, pyriproxyfen 45.05%, flufenoxuron 24.45%, cartap 22.73% and imidacloprid 8.59%. Diflubenzuron + oil 2.612%. , Fenobcarb, isazofos and propetanphos gave higher populations than the control group.
