See lõputöö keskendub ühe Tartu puhkeala tajumise ja arengu uurimisele. Asukoht on linna, eriti Maaülikooli kogukonna jaoks ülioluline. See asub ülikooli hoonete ja ühiselamute lähedal, linna põhjaosas, Emajõe ääres. Selles uuringus osalenud inimestega suhtlemiseks valiti kvalitatiivne lähenemisviis, mida nimetatakse Kaasaminemise meetodiks, ühendades nad aktiivselt oma tajutava ja külastatava keskkonnaga. Teabe kogumiseks ja maastiku omaduste uurimiseks valiti poolstruktureeritud intervjuudeks kohalikud inimesed, sealhulgas ülikoolide üliõpilased ja eksperdid, liikudes ja esitades ettevalmistatud küsimusi vestlusvormis. Kõik vestlused salvestati ja töödeldi. Selle tulemusena toodi välja positiivseid ja negatiivseid külgi ning pakuti soovitusi piirkonna edaspidiseks arenguks.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. This thesis focuses on exploring the perception and development of a recreation area in Tartu. The location is crucial to the city, especially to the University of Life Sciences community. It is located close to the university buildings and its dormitories, in the Northern part of the city along the Emajõgi river. A qualitative approach called a Go-along method was chosen to engage with the people, who were participating in this research, connecting them to their perceived and visited environment while proceeding actively. To collect information, and to explore the characteristics of the landscape local people including university students and experts were chosen for the Semi-structured interviews while moving and asking prepared questions within a conversational format. All conversations were recorded and processed. As a result, positive and negative aspects were highlighted and recommendations for the future development of the area were proposed.
