Les unités morphopédologiques de la Marche et de ses bordures septentrionales (étude géomorphologique et répartition des sols) | Morphopedological units of the Marche and its northern borders (geomorphological study and soil distribution)

French. Une étude morphologique a été réalisée en Marche et en Boischaut (7500 Km2), dans le cadre d'une typologie de stations forestières. En retraçant l'évolution géomorphologique de ces régions, on aboutit à un découpage en sept grandes unités morphologiques, à l'intérieur desquelles on étudie les relations roches, matériaux, sols, en fonction d'un type de relief. La démarche est illustrée par la présentation de l'unité morphologique : plateaux d'épandages sur socle, de son découpage en modèles, ainsi que d'une station représentative en Basse Marche. Cette unité est caractérisée par des formations superficielles argilosableuses, localisées sur les interfluves, qui présentent des variations sur le plan spatial. Les sols qui en dérivent sont généralement hydromorphes et posent des problèmes de mise en valeur.

English. A morphological study has been conducted in Marche and in Boischaut (7500 km²), in the framework of a typology of forest stations. When studying the geomorphological evolution of these regions, one observes a division of these regions into seven large morphological units, inside of which the rock, material, and soil relationships are studied as a function of the relief type. This approach is illustrated by the presentation of the morphological unit : spreading plateaus as well as a representative station in lower Marche. This unit is characterized by superficial sandy-clayey formations found on the interfluves which present spatial variations. Soils derivating from them are generally hydromorphic and difficult to valorize.
