Spheres and support mechanisms of the innovative development of agriculture.

The development of specific methods and mechanism is required for switching over agricultural production to innovative footing. The following major lines of the innovative development of agriculture are outlined: selective-genetic, production-technologicalm organizational managerial, and socio-ecological. Innovative development is impossible without creation of an innovation base. It includes: investments to human capital; investments in the development of biological resources based on developments and mastering innovations to ensure rise in the soil fertility, plant and animal productivity; investments in the development of technologies ensuring improvement of the technological potential of agriculture using energy- and resource saving equipment and high-tech technologies. The state financial support of farms in the form of credits, subsidies and subventions should be enhanced. The major source of financing and supporting the innovative agroproduction should become the State Program of Countryside Support.
