Ecological policy – national economic safety guarantee.

The plan of economic development worked out in the country envisages implementation of a successful ecological policy, on which the economic safety of the country is greatly dependent. The country’s economic development requires conservation of its natural resources, which is urgent not only locally but globally as well. The modern stage of Georgia’s development is directed at the elimination of ecological unbalance, which asks for the development of a purpose-oriented ecological program, reflecting the relevant problems in accordance with the universally recognized standards. The ecology policy envisages the use of ecologically safe technologies in production and the regulation of these processes with the help of a market mechanism.
