Mountain cattle of Georgia.

The article summarizes the results of the study of materials obtained during the excavation of the cultural artifacts. The Stone Age bones of livestock remnants dating back to the V-IV centuries BC have been discovered in Georgia. They belong to the cattle of the brachyceros type. The article considers appropriate commercial and biological issues. The conclusion on the existence of the ancient center of the domestication of cattle in Georgia is in line with the entire culture identity of the Georgian tribes. Tab. 2, Fig. 5, Ref. 27.
