2005
Kaur, Paramjeet | Cheema, D.S. | Chawla, Neena
Genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance for different quality characters were studied in 38 genotypes of carrot. The study indicated existence of considerable amount of genetic variability for all the characters studied. The carotene content exhibited highest value of genotypic and phenotypic coefficient of variation, heritability (broad sense) and genetic advance as per cent of mean. The results indicate that this characters can be effectively improved through selection.
