Biological, ecological and genetic approach proposed for crop protection involves reducing the impact of harmful organisms through selection and improvement of genetic resources of plants, developing and implementing the means of microbiological control in conventional and organic farming systems. The concept was based on microbiological protection of the main groups of crops, the essence of which is to develop and expand the range of biological resources (based on viruses, bacteria, actinomycetes, fungi, entomopathogenic nematodes, plant extracts) both development control insect pests and pathogens of diseases. The strategy proposed approach is not mass extermination of pests, and maintaining pest populations adapted to the economic damagethreshold. The advantages of this strategy include evolutionary stability of systems that do not lead to an escalation of negative relationships, ecological stabilization of populations and ensuring the quality of the resulting product.
