Effect of different cytokinins hormone benzylaminopurine (BAP) on Dracaena sanderiana

A study was carried out to determine the effect of different concentrations of benzylaminopurine (BAP) on the postharvest quality of Dracaena sanderiana. The plants were sprayed the hormone at different concentrations 0,75,150,225 and 300 mgL-1. Results of the experiment showed that BAP at 300 mgL-1 gave better quality plants in term of photosynthesis, chlorophyll content, leaf and stem fresh weight and plant grade.
