Fish distribution and hydrodynamic processes in headwaters of Rybinsk hydroelectric power plant complex study is conducted. Directions and velocities of currents which could transfer early fish fry to the power plant dam are defined. Species composition of fish fry on spawning areas in closest to dam tributaries are examined. Fish fry density and species composition at different distances from the dam are compared. Diurnal dynamics in species composition of passed turbines migrants is given. The changes in qualitative and quantitative composition in different years are revealed
