Results of studies of a lubricant modified with multi-layer graphene | Результаты исследований смазки, модифицированной многослойным графеном

Russian. При высоких нагрузках в изношенных механизмах смазка Литол-24 не всегда обеспечивает высокие противоизносные свойства, способствующие продлению сроков службы подшипников скольжения. С целью повышения эксплуатационных свойств проведены исследования по модификации смазки графенами и осуществлены сравнительные испытания на машине трения МИ-1М. Структура углеродной пленки определялась методом комбинационного рассеивания (КР) света на спектрометре. Установлено, что массовый износ деталей снижается на 43% при переходе с товарной смазки Литол-24 на смазку, модифицированную графенами. Определено, что в спектре от углеродной пленки присутствуют приблизительно одинаковые по интенсивности G-линия – 1565 см-1 и D -линия – 1340 см-1 и мало интенсивная 2D- линия – 2700 см-1. Данный спектр идентичен КР - спектру аморфного углерода. Перечисленные линии от металлической поверхности ролика в КР-спектре отсутствуют. В процессе испытания на машине трения пластической смазки Литол 24 с наполнителем из многослойного графена наблюдается разрушение структуры графена и преобразование его в аморфный углерод. В результате определения шероховатости ролика и толщины углеродной пленки профилометром установлено, что шероховатость поверхности с углеродной пленкой меньше по сравнению с чистой металлической поверхностью ролика: (0,176–0,168 = 0,008 мкм) и (0,566–0,485 = 0,071 мкм), глубина впадин профиля на поверхности с углеродной пленкой уменьшилась на 0,116 мкм. Высота выступов профиля на поверхности с углеродной пленкой увеличилась на 0,161 мкм. При этом определено расчетным путем, что ориентировочная толщина углеродной пленки составляет 0,138 мкм. На основании проведенных исследований можно утверждать, что модификация товарной смазки Литол-24 графенами способствует образованию защитной противоизносной пленки на поверхности трения, тем самым снижая износ и увеличивая срок службы деталей машины.

English. Litol-24 grease does not always provide high anti-wear properties that contribute to the prolongation of the service life of plain bearings at high loads in worn mechanisms. Studies on the modification of grease with graphenes were carried out in order to improve the operational properties and comparative tests on a MI-1M friction machine were carried out. The structure of carbon film was determined by Raman scattering RS) of light on s perctrometer. It has been found that the large scale wear reduces by 43% when in going from the commercial lubricant Litol-24 to a graphene modified lubricant. It has been defined that in the spectrum of a carbon film there are present approximately evenly intensive G-line – 1565 cm-1 and D-line – 1340 cm-1 and low intensive 2D- line – 2700 cm-1. This spectrum is identical to the Raman spectrum of amorphous carbon. The listed lines from the metal surface of the roller are absent in the Raman spectrum. The destruction of the graphene structure and its transformation into amorphous carbon is observed during testing on a friction machine for Litol 24 grease filled with multilayer graphene. As a result of determining the roughness of the roller and the thickness of the carbon film with a profilometer, it was found that the surface roughness with a carbon film is less compared to the clean metal surface of the roller: (0.176 – 0.168 = 0.008 mcm) and (0.566 - 0.485 = 0.071 mcm), the depth of the profile depressions on the surface with a carbon film decreased by 0.116 microns. The height of the profile protrusions on the surface with the carbon film was increased by 0.161 mcm. At the same time, it was determined by calculation that the approximate thickness of the carbon film is 0.138 microns. It can be argued on the basis of the studies that the modification of commercial Litol-24 grease with graphenes promotes the formation of a protective anti-wear film on the friction surface, thereby reducing wear and increasing the service life of machine parts.
