Effect of different manure fertilizers doses on yield and yield components of safflower cultivars in Bitlis-Adilcevaz ecological conditions

This research was carried out to determine the effect of different manure fertilizer doseson the yield and yield components of some safflower cultivars under irrigated conditions in 2015 spring period. . Field trials were conducted according to Randomized Complete Block Factorial Design with three replications in Bitlis- Adilcevaz ecological conditions. As factorial, three different safflower varieties (Dinçer, Balcı and Linas) and four different manure fertilizer doses (0, 2, 3 and 4 t/da) were used. In this study, plant height, number of branches, the first branches height, the head diameter, number of seeds per head, 1000 seed weight, seed yield, crude oil ratio and oil yield were investigated.According to data obtained from experimental; the highest seed yield (76.33kg/da) was obtained from 4 ton/da manure fertilizer dose applications from Balcı variety. However, the maximum oil content (% 24.53) was determined from 2 ton/da manure fertilizer dose applications from Balcı variety.
