Determination of yield and some yield components of the dry bean culti̇vars (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) di̇fferent sovi̇ng ti̇me appli̇cati̇ons of Bitlis - Ahlat

In this research, it was aimed to determine the most suitable sawing time for dry bean in Bitlis - Ahlat ecologic conditions. Three dry bean kind ( Akman-98, Great Nothern and Yunus-90) were sown at three different sowing times ( 1 May, 15 May and 30 May ). The tiral was conducted in the farmer field of Bitlis - Ahlat by using randomized split block desing with the three replications. In the study were investigated the effect of sowing time on the pşant height, first pod height, numbers of branche, numbers of pod per plant and numbers of seed per plant, numbers of seed per pod, seed yield per unit area, harvest index, biological yield, 100 seed weight and protein content. While the highest seed yield per area was obtained from first sowing time and Akman-98 kind with 623.00 kg/da, the lowest yield per area was obtained from second sowing time and Great Nothern kind with 293.13 kg/da
