Effects of different nitrogen doses on grain yield and quality of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench)
2015
Okudan, D.
The research was carried out with aim to determination the suitable nitrogen doses and investigate the effect on yield and quality of nitrogen doses for buckwheat in Isparta S?leyman Demirel University Research area in 2014 year. The experiment was set up according to a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replicates using the Akta? buckwheat cultivar. The longest plant height (77.0 cm), the highest grain yield (1254 kg ha-1) and biological yield (4313 kg ha-1) of buckwheat were obtained from 75 kg ha-1 N doses, the highest 1000 grain weight (24.2 g), agronomic efficient(11.91%), recycling efficient (67.74%) and utilizing efficient (50.58%) from 60 kg ha-1 N doses. The highest physiological efficient (0.76%) was determined in 45 kg ha-1 N dose and the highest agrophysiological efficient (0.26%) from 15 kg ha-1 N dose.Mineral nutrient content of buckwheat was increased depending on increasing N doses, and the highest N content (1.95%), P content (0.216%), K content (0.243%), Mg content (0.131%), Cu content (4.53 ppm), Zn content (18.59 ppm), Fe content (3.7ppm) and Mn content (3.00 ppm) were determined in 75 kg ha-1 N treatment. 60 and 75 kg ha-1 N doses were the same statistically significantly in point of mineral nutrient content (expect for Fe element) of buckwheat.
