THE OFF-FARM BENEFITS OF SOIL CONSERVATION IN A HYDROELECTRIC WATERSHED
2018
Southgate, Douglas
A dynamic optimization model is used to characterize optimal trends over time in sediment yield from a hydroelectric watershed. Also presented is a simulation model that is used to evaluate the downstream impacts of alternative soil conservation projects proposed for the basin draining into a hydroelectric reservoir in Ecuador.
