Analysis of the use of phytopharmaceuticals for the control of gastrointestinal nematodes in goats | ANÁLISIS DEL USO DE FITOFÁRMACOS PARA EL CONTROL DE NEMATODOS GASTROINTESTINAL EN LOS CAPRINOS

In Colombia, the goat production systems (PS) play an important role in the economy since it is evident that in some departments and rural areas of the country they work with large quantities, producing not only meat but also milk of this animal species. On the other hand, its contribution to the culture and gastronomic tradition of some sectors of the country is recognized. This is why the use of phytopharmaceuticals for the control of gastrointestinal nematodes is analyzed through a methodology of documentary and bibliographic review. This is seen as contributing to an improvement of the nutrition and well-being of goat PS, which provide the quality parameters and increased income for producers in the Colombian regions where this PS is becoming stronger.

El Colombia los sistemas de producción (SP) caprinos juegan un papel importante en la economía ya que se evidencia que en algunos departamentos y zonas rurales del país se trabajan con grandes cantidades la producción no solo de carne si no de leche de esta especie animal, por otra parte se reconoce su aporte a la cultura y la tradición gastronomía de algunas sectores del país, es por esto que mediante una metodología de revisión documental y bibliográfica, se analiza el uso de fitofármacos para el control de nematodos gastrointestinales, contribuyendo a mejorar la nutrición y el bienestar de los SP caprinos, que proporcionen parámetros de calidad y aumento de ingresos en los productores de las regiones de Colombia donde se hacen cada vez más fuerte este SP.
