Methodological procedure for evaluation of pasture effect on biotopes of protected areas

The aim of this work was to present methodology for the assessing the pasture effect as a one of useful variant in protected areas in the conditions of the Czech Republic. The basis features of evaluation include production potential of the grazed biotope, reduction of biomass cover, their height and animals behaviour on pasture. The absence of data from mentioned categories does not allow the assessment of the influence of pasture management in investigated area. This could lead to the conclusions which are not beneficial for bitope maintenance and moreover, could be harmful for these areas.
