Formative factors of irrigation water resources and their dynamics in the region of Inner Kakheti.

Forming factors of the main artery of water supply of the River Alazani for irrigation of the region are described. Their dynamics are studied and the annual change velocities and expected values are given. Reduction of atmospheric precipitation, increase of temperature and evaporation in conditions of high drought will significantly reduce the supply of irrigation water and consequently the yield. Therefore, the necessary measures to replenish irrigation water resources must be taken in a timely manner. Tab. 2, Fig. 3, Ref. 13.
