Provision of Tskaltubo region with ecologically pure products: priorities for sustainable development of agriculture.

The article discusses some specific conditions for functioning agriculture concerning Tskaltubo zone, providing some characteristics and tendencies in the development of agriculture in this region. Mainly, the focus is made on the following: marketing strategy of ecologically safe production; evaluation of risks, strong and weak aspects of the production. The current state of food security in the Tskaltubo zone is covered and its forecast, taking into account the level of provision of ecologically safe products, is made. In this regard, the estimated forecast variants of the demand for basic food products of the population of Tskaltubo and vacationers in the treatment centers are presented. The strategic-priority directions of agriculture development in Tskaltubo region and problems to be solved are given. Tab. 1, Ref. 4.
