The present study was conducted on the viscous aqueous extract of ladies finger (Abelmoschus esculentus) to explore its utility to work as an adhesive in histological techniques. The present study indicated that the aqueous extract of ladies finger (bheendi) worked well as an adhesive without affecting the staining quality and apparent clarity of the tissue sections.
